Questions employers ask

Which tax accounts do I need when I hire in a new state?

Usually a state withholding account and a state unemployment (SUI) account. States without wage income tax, such as Texas and Florida, typically need unemployment only. Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky often add local accounts as well. Jurisdix confirms the mix for that work location before filing.

How much does Jurisdix charge?

$50 per account, with no subscription. That is about 75% less than typical published service fees around $199. Government fees, where a state charges one, are passed through at cost.

How long does it take to get a state tax ID?

Filed within 3-5 business days after you confirm. The agency then issues the ID on its own timeline, from same-day online systems to several weeks by mail.

Can you register local taxes in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Kentucky?

Yes. Local tax IDs are included at the same $50. That covers Ohio municipal income tax (city, RITA, CCA), Pennsylvania local EIT and LST, and Kentucky occupational license taxes.

Do you work with my payroll provider?

Yes. We deliver account numbers to your dashboard so you can hand them to any payroll provider, PEO, or internal team. Bulk, API, and white-label options are available under partner pricing — [PARTNER PRICE].
